Movie Poster Project Description: Students from grades PK-6 answered the prompt, “If your life was a movie…,” by creating a movie poster. Students used technology to create all or part of their posters, utilizing text, images, and elements of composition to create a message. Through this project, students discovered the relationship between art and the movies as well as artwork being a reflection of the artist.
Each class created their own silent film in Drama. The third graders' trip to the movies is thrown for a loop when Mickey Mouse has to go and steal that nice lady's purse.
